What is PIM Software?

PIM stands for Personal Information Management and is generally referred to as software that manages certain types of personal information. It could be as simple as managing phone numbers and addresses or could go as far as managing your calendar, lists, events and more.

So based on previous posts, do you think Lizzy CRM fits the bill as a PIM software package?

The answer would be somewhat mixed depending on your point of view. If you’re asking the question from the perspective of a business then absolutely. With Lizzy you get a personal calendar, knowledge base access, sticky notes (tickets) that are both personal and company wide, phone lists, call lists and a lot more. So if you’re looking for a personal PIM program that can track all of your information, Lizzy definitely fits the bill.

If you’re a one man show and you need help keeping up with all of your information, Lizzy fills that need as well.

Where we might be a bit too much though, is if you’re looking for it to help you keep your recipes organized or other strictly personal data. Not that it can’t organize recipes but its probably too complicated to use for something that specific and not customer oriented.

But at the end of the day, Lizzy can be considered a very advanced form of PIM software.
